Newly founded predictions platform ADI Predictstreet has begun trading, with the launch coming just three days ahead of the FIFA World Cup kicking off on Thursday 11 June.

The start-up venture was officially launched in early April under a Gibraltar licence. Upon launch, it became the first predictions company to secure a licence with the British Overseas Territory, which has been looking at modernising its betting and gaming sector and economy.

It quickly caught headlines not for its Gibraltar licence and status as the newest kid on the block in the rapidly growing predictions space but rather as the official predictions partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

“ADI Predictstreet was created to redefine how fans engage with live events,” said Dimitrios Psarrakis, Chief Executive Officer of ADI Predictstreet, commenting on the firm’s online platform going live yesterday (8 June).

“As we go live ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, we are proud to deliver a secure, regulated, and globally scalable platform that combines technology, prediction markets, and real-time participation at an unprecedented level.

“Billions of fans worldwide will engage with this summer’s historic tournament, alongside millions in person across North America. We look forward to introducing them all to a new and exciting way of engaging with the FIFA World Cup 2026.”

On-time on on-schedule

ADI Predictstreet’s platform raised a few eyebrows from the outset. Despite its platform seemingly having gone live in April, and being fully licensed with the Gibraltar government, the various markets it was offering showed no trading volume.

Its platform would later become inaccessible, at least for audiences in the UK (where SBC News is based). This was despite the firm still being billed as the World Cup’s predictions partner, and striking a deal with World Cup media partner DAZN.

In late May, SBC News approached ADI Predictstreet about the status of its platform. The company replied that it had been in a beta testing phase, issuing the following statement:

“ADI Predictstreet is currently in beta testing with a select group of users to ensure it meets the high standards expected by both our audiences and partners. As we prepare for a broader rollout around the FIFA World Cup 2026, where ADI Predictstreet will serve as the tournament’s official prediction market partner, our focus is on delivering engaging, innovative forecasting experiences to fans.”

The company’s launch in the US has been underpinned by a partnership with US sports entertainment company Fanatics.

Fanatics started off as a platform selling sports merchandise and trading cards, before making the leap into sports betting in August 2023. In December 2025 it became the first US sportsbook to launch a predictions platform, beating FanDuel and DraftKIngs to the punch.

The company is leveraging the deal with Fanatics Markets to make its own platform available in all 23 US states via the co-branded World Cup Hub.

“In certain jurisdictions, we have developed strategic partnerships with appropriately licensed and regulated operators,” the company’s statement to SBC in May continued.

“We have already announced partnerships with DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, which will integrate ADI Predictstreet experiences across its global sports entertainment ecosystem, and Fanatics Markets to deliver a co-branded FIFA World Cup 2026 Hub experience for fans in 23 US states and four territories.

“Together with our FIFA partnership, these collaborations reflect our commitment to delivering innovative forecasting and fan engagement experiences to audiences around the world while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, integrity, and consumer protection.”

After taking its product live on Monday, ADI Predictstreet added that it will go live in other global jurisdictions through a “growing network of compliant strategic partners, creating a scalable pathway to regulated market access globally”.

It can be assumed that these strategic partners will be revealed in due course, though with just two days until the ADI Predictstreet-partnered World Cup kicks off, time is of the essence to get the global operation well and truly on the road.
