BV Group expands B2B range via Rhino Entertainment SaaS deal

BVGroup, in partnership with Rhino Entertainment Group, has launched Puntit as the first brand under its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.

Aiming to ‘set the stage’ for future growth, the deal sees Rhino make its first move into the sportsbook market with Puntit – powered by BVGroup’s proprietary sportsbook technology and previous experience in the sector.

“We are thrilled to partner with BVGroup to launch  Puntit,” said Ross Parkhill, CEO of Rhino Entertainment Group. “Their technology and sportsbook expertise perfectly complement our strengths in customer acquisition and market expansion. 

“This collaboration allows us to bring a best-in-class sportsbook and casino experience to new audiences globally while maintaining full control of our operations. We look forward to a successful launch and a long-term partnership.” 

Over the past couple of months, the Gibraltar-based brand’s product and tech teams have worked to provide key insights to optimise both its SaaS strategy and internal operations.

BVGroup has historically been a B2C business, notably operating the BetVictor online sportsbook with which it shared a name until an official rebrand last year.

However, it also has a foothold in B2B betting, operating the UK-facing brands of international companies like Parimatch while also providing a platform to domestic newcomers like talkSPORT Bet. These services are provided under white label agreements.

The addition of SaaS services further expands BVGroup’s B2B activity, diversifying its product portfolio and revenue streams in the process. 

This may be a result of the competitiveness of the highly saturated UK B2C market which has seen the likes of bet-at-home and Rhino Bet, the latter a Rhino Entertainment brand, withdraw.
