FeedConstruct has partnered with the Korean Handball League to deliver exclusive worldwide streaming and data distribution to global operators.
The partnership will give FeedConstruct access to more than 160 matches for the upcoming season of Korea’s top handball competition, which was established in 2011 and is about to enter its 14th edition.
In the women’s tournament, back-to-back champions SK Sugar Gliders will be defending their Asian Women’s Club League Handball Championship title, while Doosan Handball Club will try to climb up the ranks and eventually claim its 13th league trophy.
South Korea is currently being touted as the most successful handball nation in Asia, with a combined total of 25 titles shared between the Men’s and Women’s national teams.
Through the data partnership, FeedConstruct will not only enhance the visibility of Korean handball globally, but will also strengthen the firm’s sports market share in the country.
A similar strategy to increase the popularity of women’s handball was also deployed in Germany, where FeedConstruct renewed its exclusive global rights agreement with the German Handball Bundesliga Women.
Narek Harutyunyan, FeedConstruct CEO, then commented: “We are proud to extend our partnership with the HBF. The HBF is a dynamic league that continues to grow in popularity. We are excited to continue supporting the growth and development of handball worldwide.”
Harutyunyan was also recently present at the SBC Summit Lisbon, where he took part in a panel discussion exploring the possibilities through which sportsbooks can capitalise on niche sports and their small but otherwise “patient and consistent audience”.
