Dafabet has joined forces with Cricket South Africa (CSA) to be named the official team associate sponsor for the Proteas Men’s and Women’s teams.
The three-year deal will see the Asian operator’s logo placed on the kit of the teams, with the branding making its debut on the Men’s jerseys during South Africa’s T20 tour of the Caribbean when they face the West Indies later this month.
John Cruces, Head of Sponsorship at Dafabet, stated: “We are extremely proud to partner with Cricket South Africa.”
In the country, Dafabet has been the naming partner of the Warriors since 2021 as well as the naming partner of St. George’s Park since 2022.
“As we continue to expand our presence in the sport, collaborating with CSA will only help us reach our goals,” Cruces added. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration and wish them the best of success.”
Meanwhile, CSA detailed that the partnership aims to bolster its efforts to ‘maintain consistency’ and foster ‘mutually beneficial relationships’ with global brands.
“CSA is extremely excited to welcome Dafabet as an official Team Associate Sponsor. We look forward to building a strong and innovative partnership with them over the next few years,” highlighted CSA CEO, Pholetsi Moseki.
“We are thrilled to partner with a prominent leader in sports gaming. This will help us expand our reach and connect with new audiences across global platforms.
“We anticipate a collaboration that will create valuable alignment for both the Proteas Men and Proteas Women.”
Back over in the UK, Dafabet also recently signed a partnership with Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC).
This deal saw the operator even further extend its commitment to sports sponsorship globally, which already includes partnerships with clubs in the Premier League, Scottish Premiership and across top-level cricket.
