QiH Group releases fully fledged sports betting vertical

UK affiliate firm QiH Group has announced the launch of its proprietary sports betting offering covering four distinct markets.

Just in time for the new Premier League season, the betting vertical will initially feature horse racing, football, boxing and the NFL, tailored for various digital marketing channels like Google, PPC, SEO, programmatic, Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter.

QiH initially leveraged this summer’s EURO 2024 tournament to perform a soft launch of its new sports betting division, which resulted in the execution of 350 campaigns across paid channels and a list of more than 25,000 and 7,500 prospect customers and conversions respectively.

David Murphy, Chief Marketing Officer at QiH, commented: The Euros were the launchpad of a long-held ambition for the company to expand into sports and it has been a fantastic success.

“It is a strategic goal for QiH to deliver not just volume, but also quality, by targeting sports enthusiasts in quality channels while ensuring that our partners can jointly prosper in our vertical expansion.

“We are committed to providing sports fans with the same level of excellence and innovation that has defined our market-leading casino offerings.

“I am incredibly proud of our team’s efforts to expand into sports betting. This is just the beginning, and we have a lot more in store for end users and crucially, our operator partners.”

The launch will be accompanied by the revamp of the affiliate’s Podium Bets brand, which is a one-stop showcase of online sports betting operators with the addition of daily promotions and free-to-play games.

Podium Bets was integrated directly into the QiH brand portfolio together with premium casino offerings like SlotsWise and StrikeWild.

James Dominique, Affiliate Manager at Lottoland – a Podium Bets partner – added: “We’ve recently launched with Podium Bets and have seen some fantastic results so far. Our account manager has been outstanding in onboarding our unique brand, which isn’t a typical sportsbook, and finding a way to make it profitable for us.”
