QiH Group strengthens affiliate strategy with new CMO and COO appointments

Gambling affiliate QiH Group has announced a new hire and a separate internal promotion as part of its strategic growth plan.

David Murphy will join the firm as the Chief Marketing Officer, leading QiH to double digit growth through marketing channels and commercial relationships, increasing revenue and profit along the way.

On his appointment, Murphy commented: “QiH Group has been making major waves in the industry in the past few years, and seeing the growth and leadership made it a really attractive next step in my career.

“I can’t wait to bring my expertise in the iGaming sector to QiH, helping develop and motivate a fantastic marketing team to bring this power affiliate to its goal of becoming the UK’s most widely known affiliate in online betting and gaming.”

Jamie Walters, QiH Group CEO, welcomed Murphy on board by adding: “As the company saw a 75% increase in both revenue and profit in FY2023 and is on track for a repeat of that this year, it’s vital that we have this level of experience to lead the team alongside me.

“David’s knowledge of the betting and gaming sector and Andrew’s knowledge of QiH’s operational excellence as well as what our partners need will bring a wonderful combination to our existing team – and there’s more to come!”

Additionally, Andrew Lee who has been with QiH since its inception has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all operational departments, revenue growth, system management and the firm;s compliance strategy.

Commenting on the promotion, Lee said: “I look forward to using the experiences of the past decade at QiH to continue to drive operational excellence to deliver on our strategic growth plans. With our talented team and strong foundations, we’re well-positioned to continue building on our success.

QiH has been on the market since 2014. Both Murphy’s appointment and Lee’s promotion are key developments in the company’s four-year growth plan, which includes bringing a C-suite layer of management to its London HQ in order to strengthen its operations.
