Novibet joins Brazil’s start with IBIA partnership

Online sports betting operator Novibet has been announced as the latest member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).

The company is currently licenced in Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Ireland and Italy, with the prospects of expanding its international presence in Brazil’s upcoming regulated market launch. 

As part of the requirements to join the market, operators must be assigned to a global integrity standards monitoring body such as the IBIA – which currently boasts more than 50 companies and 125 sports betting brands active across the world.

IBIA’s monitoring network can track transactional activities linked to individual customer accounts, with the watchdog’s members generating over $300bn in annual betting turnover – amounting to around 50% of the global commercial regulated land-based and online sports betting sector.
