1xBet has been named the global betting partner of Volleyball World in a five-year agreement.
Encompassing both volleyball and beach volleyball, the deal will see the Cyprus-headquartered operator fully leverage Volleyball World’s digital platforms as well as have its branding featured throughout live events.
A 1xBet company representative described how the long-term agreement with Volleyball World is important to the firm’s global strategy to support sports, adding that it shares the organisation’s desire to promote volleyball around the world.
“We are pleased to announce that 1xBet were presented for the first time as an official partner of the organisation at the start of the Volleyball Nations League on 14 May,” 1xBet continued.
The partnership will include major tournaments such as the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Volleyball World Championships and Club World Championships, as well as events like the Beach Pro Tour (BPT) and the Beach Volleyball World Championships.
Volleyball World CEO, Finn Taylor, added: “This partnership represents volleyball’s first-ever global betting sponsorship and is a response to the sport’s rising popularity.
“We are confident that 1xBet’s global reach will assist us in connecting with new audiences, driving the commercial growth of volleyball and further promoting the sport.”
Volleyball World continues to keep its links to the gambling sector, after signing a deal with Stake.com last year which became the exclusive betting partner of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2023.
