StarCasinò Sport has extended its partnership with AS Roma for the 2023/24 football season to be the club’s centurion partner in the infotainment category.
The Betsson Group-owned sports betting and content platform will develop content designed specifically for fans of the Serie A side, including player interviews, behind-the-scenes stories and news.
Stefano Tino, StarCasinò Sport Managing Director, commented: “We are especially happy to continue our collaboration with the club and the Giallorossi players. Throughout the previous season, we were impressed by the passion and devotion exhibited by the Roma fans from the stands at the Stadio Olimpico.”
Moreso, the pair will collaborate on a range of experiences for fans, including activities and contests. Prizes will range from AS Roma merchandise, tickets to games and signed shirts.
Tino continued: “Therefore, we look forward to providing this wonderful community with exclusive StarCasinò Sport experiences. We are confident that the upcoming season will be filled with moments of great satisfaction.”
Meanwhile, the partnership will also see cross-promotion of both brands across official channels and social media.
The operator said in a release that it will provide ‘behind-the-scenes stories and an intimate glimpse into the lives, both professional and personal, of Roma champions’.
“We are very excited to welcome StarCasinò Sport back into our esteemed family of partners,” added Michael Wandell, AS Roma Chief Commercial & Brand Officer.
“With StarCasinò Sport, we share a common objection for our platform, namely, to prioritise our most passionate supporters, bringing them ever closer to the team they support and love.”
In further company moves, this week, Betsson was named the official sportsbook provider for online gaming operator Bethard.
Described as having an array of licences across multiple European jurisdictions, Bethard selected Betsson as the sole provider of fully managed sportsbook services for its ‘diverse player base across key markets’, including Sweden, Ireland and Malta.
