More momentum for Kambi as Rank Group renews sportsbook deal

Kambi has kept up the pace with its commercial development in 2023, signing an extension agreement with Rank Group as the latest in a series of partnerships.

Rank is a long-running client of the Stockholm-listed betting and gaming supplier, having utilised the firm’s sportsbook product since 2016, including AI-backed trading, a bet builder and horse racing product.

The London-listed operator, which manages the Grosvenor land-based and online casino brand and some sportsbook properties, has launched three sports betting brands on the Kambi platform – Grosvenor Sport, Enracha and most recently YoSports, a Spain-facing business.

Tom Orton, Director of Sports at Rank Interactive, stated: “With Kambi’s support, we have driven 80% growth in our Grosvenor sportsbook revenues over the past 12 months and are excited about what this extended partnership has the capacity to deliver.

“We aspire to be the sportsbook of choice, not only for our digital customers but also those who visit our venues, and Kambi will help us to realise our ambitious goals at Grosvenor Sport.”

Looking back on the first half of the year, 2023 has been incredibly active for Kambi, with the group having secured extensions or renewed partnerships with a range of international operators across several markets.

This has included Paf, the Finnish Aland islands-based operator which is the firm’s longest-running client, as well as supporting LeoVegas renewed sportsbook ambitions and South African firm Sun International, the operator of the SunBet brand.

Meanwhile, developments in the Americas saw a renewal with high-profile US customer Rush Street Interactive and another extension with Colombian company BetPlay.

Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and Co-Founder, added: “We are very proud to have strengthened our relationship with Rank Group through this latest partnership extension, and delighted to continue supporting its excellent stable of sports betting brands.

“One of the gaming industry’s leading operators, Rank has long been a valued Kambi partner and we look forward to empowering their sports betting ambitions in the years to come with our complete sportsbook.”
