Next step for GG.BET as company embarks on Ukrainian journey

GG.BET has been awarded a licence in Ukraine, its founding market, paving the way for the company to roll out its esports betting platform in the country.

The company has received licences from Ukraine’s Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL), and will operate under the GGBET UA brand, the rights to which have been acquired by GGBET LLC.

Recognising the Ukrainian betting market as one with strong development potential, the operator has plans to develop the local esports community, invest and promote sports via social projects. 

The company also has plans to work with ‘key sporting figures’, and highlight responsible betting and casino gaming principles.

A GGBET UA statement read: “Ukraine’s betting market has great potential for development, so for the GG.BET brand to obtain these licences is both an expected and well-thought-out decision. 

“Ukrainian esports stands out thanks to its fanbase and history of tournaments and resounding victories. Additionally, we are sure that fans of betting on classic sports will also find plenty of attractive offers and exciting experiences. 

“We’re offering Ukrainian customers the same excellent betting product and high-quality service that the GG.BET brand provides to customers worldwide,”

The forthcoming rollout of GG.BET’s product in its home nation of Ukraine is the latest in a series of international developments for the company, following an acquisition of a UK operating licence earlier this month.

GG.BET’s international operations primarily focus on its specialist product area of esports, with the company supporting development of the sector and sponsoring notable teams such as NAVI and Team Vitality.
