Better Collective grows Polish visibility in Wirtualna Polska deal

Better Collective has continued its approach to ‘fine tuning its media partnership business’, signing a new agreement with Polish news portal Wirtualna Polska (WP).

The deal will focus around a co-branding between WP and Better Collective’s Poland-facing Zagranie.com site, jointly delivering sports betting content, data and statistics.

Denmark-based Better Collective has detailed a plan to provide sports content, betting odds, and analyses to its new Polish partner’s sports media division, which has a monthly user-base of 11.5 million.

Michael Kopec, Director Better Collective Northeast Europe, said: “Better Collective has extensive experience in producing data, betting tips and sports content of high quality to inform sports fans at all levels of experience. 

“We are excited to partner with Wirtualna Polska, so we together can provide the continuous depth and breadth of content that sports fans appreciate.”

The partnership will commence in March, with the aforementioned content provided by the Zagraine.com site to WP, whilst sports fans using the platform will also be able to share reviews and tips.

WP is the latest media outlet to partner with Better Collective following similar agreements with prominent publications such as The Telegraph and New York Post, as the group seeks forward momentum in 2023.

Notable developments this year have seen the firm acquire a 5% share in Catena Media, whilst its Q4 2022 trading update showed that it had achieved its year-end target of $100m in revenue from US sources.

Łukasz Gołąbowski, Regional Manager Wirtualna Polska, added: “Wirtualna Polska was Poland’s first internet portal, and we have a large and loyal following. Daily, we prepare new content so our readers can access the latest information and stay up-to-date on trivia from the world of entertainment. 

“Partnering with Better Collective means that we also will be able to provide timely and professional sports and sports betting content so Polish fans can always get the latest information about their favourite sport, team, or athlete.”
