Kaizen Gaming’s Betano sportsbook brand has signed a regional partnership with FIFA, becoming the official sponsor of the Club World Cup.
The deal makes Betano the partner of the tournament, which kicked off last week in Morocco, in Europe and South America, and builds on the operator’s partnership with the global football governing body late last year.
In a major development for the company, the brand became the debut partner of the FIFA World Cup for the 2022 Qatar edition of the tournament, targeting enhanced fan engagement via a ‘responsible sports betting experience’.
Julio Iglesias Hernando, Betano Chief Commercial Officer, said: “In 2022 we were honoured to partner with FIFA on a World Cup. After a historical FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, we are thrilled to extend our collaboration as Official Supporters of the Club World Cup in South America and Europe.

Moving forward, Betano states that it will leverage its proprietary technology and portfolio to continue offering a premium and responsible betting experience to a global audience of football fans.
This year’s edition of the Club World Cup will feature Real Madrid, Wydad Casablanca, Seattle Sounders, Al Hilai, Al Alhy and Auckland City.
