Bundesliga football club VFL Wolfsburg has announced ChillyBets (ChillyBets.de) as its new ‘premium sports betting partner’ for its men’s and women’s teams.
The partnership will see the ChillyBets brand promoted across the Volkswagen Arena’s LED perimeter on Wolfsburg matchdays.
Further partnership duties will see ChillyBets sponsor VFL Wolfsburg’s UEFA Women’s Champions League matchdays and serve as the official sponsor and provider of a fan prediction game on the official VFL app.
Updating media, VFL Wolfsburg MD Michael Meeske stated that the Saxony football club had chosen a locally-based partnership with ‘young and dynamic’ ChillyBets.
“In Chillybets we’ve brought a young and dynamic partner on board. I’m especially pleased that Chillybets will have a presence in the VfL community in so many different ways in the future,” Meeske told media.
“It was very important to us that the people involved have plenty of experience in the industry, despite the company’s youth, and that the issues of security and responsible gaming hold special significance.”
Founded in 2018, ChillyBets received its federal sports betting licence in the summer of 2021.
Securing its first Bundesliga partnership, ChillyBets has outlined its goals to become the leading challenger brand for Germany’s newly reformed sports betting market.
