Parimatch Holdings has confirmed the promotion of Dmitry Sergeev to the newly created executive leadership position – CEO of Parimatch CIS Division.
Sergeev, who has led Parimatch’s Russian unit since 2019, will be tasked with leading operations and growth strategy for the ‘Commonwealth of Independent States’ territories, encompassing – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
Parimatch explained that the appointment has been undertaken with a view to significantly amplify the bookmaker’s position within new and established markets.
Updating its leadership structures, Parimatch added that the betting group is seeking to better align its operations and practices across its Asian and Eastern European divisions.

In its update, Parimatch highlighted Sergeev’s proven qualities, having quadrupled Russian market growth in less than a year of joining the company.
Furthermore, Parimatch noted Sergeev’s knowledge and experience in executing effective CIS betting and marketing strategies, having formerly served as CEO of Bwin Russia (2015-2019) and operations lead for CIS digital sports publishing group Rambler&Co (2006-2015).
