Ladbrokes places Radiohead as Glastonbury 2017 headlining favourite

Opening its ‘Glastonbury Headlining Act’ market, UK bookmaker Ladbrokes has placed Radiohead as its 4/6 favourite to ‘headline’ a festival night in 2017.

The bookmaker places the indie rock band as market favourite, following their May release of ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ the band’s first studio album since 2011’s ‘The King of Limbs’.

Thom Yorke’s band is placed as favourite in Ladbrokes early Glastonbury 2017 market to land a ‘Pyramid Stage’ headline slot. At present, the market sees Leicester rock band Kasabian priced at even money to be a festival 2017 headline act.

Tickets for the famous music festival sold out within an hour of going on sale on Sunday morning, so rumours have now moved on to who will take the stage. The festival also confirmed that 2018 will be a fallow year, meaning anyone that missed out on tickets for 2017 will have to wait two years to get another chance to attend.

Presenting its early ‘Glasto’ contenders, Ladbrokes has placed LA rockers Guns N’ Roses at a 6/4 to land a headlining slot, despite the band receiving negative reviews of its latest tour.  Ladbrokes further places The Stone Roses at 7/4 to headline any day of the 2017 Glastonbury Festival.
