Sky Betting & Gaming makes 100 Best Companies to Work For list

painter201Leeds-based independent online gambling company Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) was last night confirmed as the only gaming company to make it into the prestigious Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

The company was granted two-star status, entered the list at number 94 after less than a year as an independent company, and won a special learning and development award for its innovative ‘Tech Ninja Fund’.

The Tech Ninja Fund provides each of the 400 strong members of SB&G’s technology team £1000 to spend on anything they like to develop their career and skills. The aim of the Fund is to stimulate innovation, empowerment and learning and supports SB&G’s ambition to become the best digital business in the UK.

Rob Painter, SB&G’s Brand and HR Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised by such a prestigious awards scheme.

“To be the only firm in the gaming sector to make the list is fantastic achievement, even more so when you consider we’ve only been an independent company for 11 months. Everyone at Sky Betting & Gaming should be proud to be part of such a great team.”
