Frankfurt listed sports betting operator bet-at-home reported a strong opening performance to 2015 as the company recorded increased EBITDA earnings of 19% to €96 million (Q1 2014: €8 million).
bet-at-home were pleased to announced that the company had continued its positive 2014 momentum on key verticals as the operator recorded a gross gaming and betting revenue increase of 13.1% to €28.4 million (Q1 2014: €24 million).
bet-at-home would highlight its positive performance despite seeing numerous tax increases in European jurisdictions. During the 2015 opening period, the operator was able implement a number of cost efficient measures to its marketing and retention strategies which would save the company €1.2 in operational expenses.
bet-at-home governance would announce that it anticipates yearly EBITDA for 2015 to be within the €20 million mark, providing the European legal framework remains unchained. The operator is currently investigating market entry and further potential growth outside of core European markets.
In 2014 bet-at-home was granted an operator’s licence by the UK Gambling Commission, the operator is also amongst the first twenty bookmakers to be granted a licence by the German Hesse Ministry.
