Paddy Power awards £20 million account to Beattie McGuinness Bungay

paddysuarezLondon creative advertising agency Beattie McGuinness Bungay (BMB) has won the Paddy Power £20 million advertising account following a pitch process assessed by marketing consultants Oystercatchers.

In November 2010 Paddy Power marketing of its creative and brand direction after three years of working with agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky

After a three month search process, Paddy Power have announced the BMB will lead the company’s creative marketing strategy. Paddy Powers advertising account is one of the biggest in UK gambling.

The agency will primarily focus on offline marketing activities for the bookmaker, taking control of print and TV advertising.

BMB won the account over M&C Saatchi, Grey London, Enter and Fold7.Trevor Beattie, BMB co-founder, commented on his company’s new account: “We’re delighted to be working with Paddy Power. It’s a marriage made in mischief.”

Paul Sweeny, Head of Brand at Paddy Power, commented: “We can’t wait to see how much trouble we can get into with our new friends BMB.”

Paddy Power will look to bring out new advertising campaigns in the coming months, led by BMB creative direction.
