Australian gambling operator Tatts Group is set to unify all its regional operations under the brand UBET.
The operator’s senior management announced that it would be launching the UBET brand throughout all product verticals in Q1 of 2015.
Tatts Group currently operates multiple retail and online betting verticals, including Tabonline, Queensland TAB, UniTab and TattsBet operations. The brands will be incorporated under the UBET brand.
Speaking to the Australian Telegraph Tatts Group CEO Robbie Cooke commented on the company’s planned brand merger:-
“In recent years the Group had underinvested in its wagering business and has been slow to adapt as other corporate bookmakers entered the market,” Cooke said. “We found we were not keeping up with our customers’ needs, but that is all about to change.
“UBET has been created to evolve the identity of the business and integrate a new philosophy, to put the customer at the heart of what we do with an aim to breed a sense of excitement from our employees extending all the way to our consumers.”
Today’s announcement is the first step in the evolution of Tatts Group’s wagering arm, with rebranding of existing TABs to start early next year, right through until all 1400 retail outlets across four states carry the UBET logo.
