Allwyn sponsors McLaren Racing to double F1 coverage

Allwyn International has doubled down on its Formula 1 coverage by announcing that it has become an official partner of the McLaren Racing F1 Team.

The partnership follows yesterday’s announcement that Allwyn had become a global partner of the FIA F1 World Championship, marking its biggest-ever sponsorship commitment.

Teaming up with F1’s current Constructors’ Champions, Allwyn views McLaren as the optimal partner to promote its business to worldwide audiences, supporting its global growth plans.

Announcing Allwyn’s second F1 sponsorship of the week, company founder and chairman Karel Komárek commented:

“This exciting partnership – alongside the partnership we announced earlier this week with F1 – is a big step forward on Allwyn’s journey to expand its business and brand globally.

“Our collaboration with McLaren benefits from a shared drive to thrive, fuelled by technology and with innovation at its heart—characteristics that will continue to power Allwyn’s global development.”

The 2025 F1 World Championship will commence at the Melbourne Grand Prix on 14 March, with Allwyn already working with McLaren on new marketing initiatives to promote its brand and values.

As a partner of McLaren Racing, Allwyn branding will feature on multiple team assets, including the race cars and driver overalls of McLaren F1 Team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, said: “We are delighted to welcome Allwyn to the McLaren Racing family. Off the back of a fantastic 2024 season in Formula 1, it’s great to have an international brand like Allwyn join us at a time when the team – and the sport – is going from strength to strength. We’re excited to go racing together.”

Allwyn CEO Robert Chvátal views McLaren Racing as the perfect partner to elevate Allwyn’s brand and profile, in which it will establish a first-in-kind partnership for global lotteries and good causes.  Furthermore, as an F1 fan he backed the ambitions of F1’s youngest ever line-up of Norris-&-Piastri to achieve glory in the 2025 F1 Championship.

“McLaren is an iconic name in Formula 1, with huge international appeal. It is one of the most successful racing teams in the world – with incredibly exciting drivers. We take pride that wherever Allwyn operates, we create safe and responsible ways for people to play,” Chvátal stated.

“We know that McLaren, like the wider world of Formula 1, also prioritises safety and responsibility. We look forward to working together to realise our shared ambition of a world full of winning moments.”
