Gambling tech provider Playtech has been selected as the exclusive live casino partner for Finland’s state-owned monopoly operator Veikkaus.
Playtech’s winning tender builds on the London Stock Exchange-listed company’s previous partnership with Veikkaus, spanning across online casino, online poker, retail VLT machines, as well as a casino management system, which now also includes live casino games.
The extension clause is valid for six years from the date of singing and holds the option for a renewal.

The agreement will allow Veikkaus to offer its Nordic customer base the full Playtech live casino games stack, as well as content from a brand new live Veikkaus studio that will launch with the support of Playtech. It will feature Finnish-speaking dealers offering a range of blackjack and roulette tables.
