PA Betting Services clinches third major deal of 2023 as Flutter renews racing contract

PA Betting Services (PABS) has extended its partnership with Flutter Entertainment, providing its horse and greyhound racing content services to the firm’s full sportsbook portfolio.

The renewal of PABS’ contract with the FTSE100 sports betting and gaming group will see the long-running partnership continue until 2028, supporting the Paddy Power, Sky Bet, Betfair, Sportsbet and Sporting Life brands.

Over 50,000 fixtures per year will be distributed under the agreement, including both international and domestic UK meetings, accompanied by PABS’ real-time news, race previews, tips and betting analysis services.

Dan Barrett, Head of Commercial at Flutter Entertainment plc, said: “We are pleased to have renewed a long-term deal with PA Betting Services.

“PA Betting Services hold close relationships with racing’s global rights owners, and we value their extensive range and quality of racing coverage. We look forward to working together with PA Betting Services as we develop our racing products further.”

The agreement marks PABS’ third major agreement of 2023, following deals with the newly launched UK challenger brands of DAZN Bet and talkSPORT Bet.

Launching in the UK in August 2022 and November 2022 respectively, DAZN Bet and talkSPORT Bet are two of the latest entrants to the market, whilst also being indicative of greater convergence between betting and sports media.

PABS’ deals with both sportsbooks encompass multi-territory horse and greyhound racing content, similar to its agreement with dominant FTSE100 international betting provider Flutter.

“We are proud to play such an integral role for Flutter,” remarked Eugene Delaney, PA Betting Services Director.

“We are excited to be extending our partnership with such an esteemed global brand who continue to see their coverage and demand grow, the PA Betting Services’ extensive range of services will continue to support this.”
