MaxBet will expand its home market presence in Serbia, having reached definitive terms to acquire the arcade properties of El Dorado Slot Clubs.
The Balkans gaming group confirmed that it reached a deal with BARGAME AD, a subsidiary of CT GAMING Bulgaria, to acquire El Dorado Slots Clubs’ eleven arcade gaming properties located throughout Serbia.
Of strategic relevance, the acquisition will see MaxBet, the operating firm of MaxBet Kladionica betting points, become Serbia’s leading arcade and slots operator.
MaxBet CEO Darko Živanov remarked, “With this acquisition, we will welcome El Dorado Slot Clubs to the MaxBet family.
“We firmly believe in the further growth and development of the slot business segment and the successful implementation of our business skills and experience in running companies in the industry.”
The deal will aim to be finalised by Q1 2023, as MaxBet outlined that it would upgrade El Dorado Slot Clubs properties with an “investment in professional staff, technological development, and stable cooperation with all relevant partners”.
Founded in 1997, MaxBet is currently active in the markets of Serbia, Montenegro, the Republic of Srpska and North Macedonia.
“MaxBet continues to implement its strategy, combining organic expansion with selected acquisitions in Serbia and the Balkans region”, Živanov concluded.
