French heritage leisure and casino operator Groupe Barrière will launch its new sportsbook property ‘Barrièrebet’ this week, which will be powered by BetConstruct.
The operating firm of 28 luxury casinos and 18 five-star hotels across France, Barrière entered the French online gambling marketplace after securing its sportsbook licence from ANJ – France’s new ‘unified federal authority’ – regulating all gambling activities.
BetConstruct has confirmed that tomorrow (16 September) it will launch Barrièrebet’s initial sportsbook product, which the technology group will further expand with additional betting markets, live horse racing and a poker room within the coming weeks.
Founded in 1912 by leisure industry icon François André, Groupe Barrière is recognised as the haute couture brand of luxury hotels and resorts, managing the exclusive properties of Le Fouquet Paris, Grand Dinard, Le Majestic Cannes and Les Neiges Courchevel.

The launch of Barrièrebet sees BetConstruct further expand its French technology footprint. In 2019, BetConstruct was appointed by casino group Partouche to relaunch its sportsbook property Pasino.fr
