Danske Spil will bring premium live sports video to customers throughout shop opening hours after launching the new new high resolution Watch & Bet Retail service from Perform across its land-based retail estate.
The service includes thousands of premium and well-timed streams for Danish bettors, including La Liga, KHL and WTA tennis, along with stats to aid betting decisions and Perform’s suite of 100,000 live action visualisations.
State-owned Danske Spil is the latest operator to offer Perform’s live streams to their retail customers, joining a growing number of land-based lotteries and blue chip sportsbooks across the globe.
Jens Nielsen, Sports Betting Director at Danske Spil, said: “At Danske Spil we constantly strive to offer entertaining and high quality experiences to our customers. With our new retail streaming solution, developed and operated in cooperation with Perform, we have taken a big step forward in modernizing our betting shop environment.
“By combining high resolution live sports streaming with our corresponding betting offer on user-friendly screens and tablets, we are now able to deliver a top-class live sports and in-play betting experience to our retail customers.”
John Harlow, SVP Perform, added: “Danske Spil have created a fantastic-looking experience with our new low latency, high resolution streams and statistics. We’re sure their customers will appreciate being able to watch and bet on quality sport during retail opening hours and we’re really proud to see our content being used so creatively.”
Nielsen will play his part in the opening session of this year’s Betting on Football conference – ‘Peak betting – are economies of scale causing stagnation?’ He will be joined for this Leadership & Vision track session by Marco Blume, Director of Trading at Pinnacle Sports, and Guy Harding, Head of Commercial at Oddschecker.
