PMU appoints Antoine Levan to lead rebrand

French state-owned racing operator Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) has announced the appointment of Antoine Levan as new Marketing Director.

Levan joins PMU leadership, from French household appliances manufacturer Conforama where he held the position of Director of Marketing & Communications (2016-2018).

Furthermore, Levan serves on the Board of Directors for French media/advertising trade body ‘Le Club des Annonceurs’.

Confirming the appointment of Levan as new marketing lead, PMU governance details that he will be charged with leading a number of PMU product rebrands and relaunches for the state-owned enterprise.

In 2018, PMU governance has moved to restructure its senior leadership team. Last April, PMU confirmed the double appointment of former l’Equipe Managing Director Cyril Linette as Chief Executive supported by former Canal Plus executive Bertrand Meheut as new Chairman.

At present, the French government is reviewing its position with regards to French state-owned public enterprises, with the governing En Marche party seeking to significantly minimise state-controlled interests in gambling enterprises.
