Swedish state-owned gambling operator Svenska Spel, has moved to expand its board to ten members, by confirming the appointments of Eivor Andersson and Carina Olson to its corporate governance.
The operator confirms the board appointments following its annual general meeting held on 20 September.
The Svenska Spel board gains Eivor Andersson a leisure industry expert, who currently serves as Chief Executive of TUI Nordic, part of the multi-national travel firm TUI Group.
The firms second governance appointment sees Carina Olson, current Chief Finance Officer of Swedish private healthcare group Praktikertjänst Aktiebolag join the Svenska Speal board as an advisor.
Andersson and Olson will serve under Svenska Spel board president Erik Strand and alongside fellow directors Eva-Britt Gustafsson, Johan Strid, Hélène West Holm and Fredrik Ahlberg.
Svenska Spel is yet to replace its departed Chairwoman Sven Anitra Linnéa, who left the company in April of this year citing concerns regarding the operator’s social responsibility initiatives.
