SynotTip nets title sponsorship of Latvia Higher League

latviaCzech Republic gambling and lottery operator Synot Group has confirmed that subsidiary SynotTip will become the title sponsor of Latvian football’s top division ‘The Latvia Higher League’ (Virsliga).

Synot Group secures the naming right to the league for three consecutive seasons, in which it will promote subsidiary sports betting brand SynotTip.

The operator informed that media that it was pleased to secure the sponsorship deal, detailing that it emphasised its commitment to Latvian football and its ongoing development.

The gambling operator has been operational in the Latvian market for more than twenty years through its SIA Joker gambling subsidiary. Synot will now aim to push online sports betting products to Latvian consumers.

The announcement of its Sponsorship of the Latvia Higher League comes as Synot governance announced in January that it would no longer fund Czech Republic sports initiatives due to an ongoing dispute relating to higher taxes on lottery products.

Ivo Valenta Synot Group owner commented on the partnership

“I am sincerely glad that the name of Synot Group will be associated with the Latvian Higher League.I am truly convinced that the cooperation will be very effective and will bring a lot of positives for Latvian football”.
