Steven Esom joins Rank Group as Non Executive Director

Rank Group Plc has confirmed the appointment of Steven Esom as a Non-Executive Director.

Esom has joined the operator’s board as of 1 March, and will further act as principal chair to Rank Group’s remuneration committee, advising the operator on its audits and governance appointments.

A UK retail expert, Esom has held leadership positions at Waitrose (Managing Director 2002-2007) and Marks and Spencer (Executive Director of Food 2008-2007).

Esom currently serves governance roles at the British Retail Consortium (Chairman since 2011), Advantage Travel Partnership (Non-Executive Chairman since 2013) and FTSE 250 food producer Cranswick Plc (Senior Independent Director since 2009).
