BetVictor joins UK Racing’s ABP Scheme

rustThe British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has confirmed that independent  bookmaker BetVictor has become the latest betting operator to join its Authorised Betting Partner (ABP) scheme.

BetVictor governance has agreed to a three-year deal, which will see the company make a voluntary contribution to the sport on trading profits from its UK racing markets.

As a new ABP member, BetVictor will be allowed to sponsor and promote its betting services at BHA associated racing events. The operator joins bet365, Betfair and 32Red as an ABP scheme member.

BHA CEO Nick Rust confirmed the commitment of BetVictor stating

“We are delighted that BetVictor has chosen to become an Authorised Betting Partner and that they recognise the benefits of a three-year deal with British Racing. We look forward to working with them to grow their racing business, and to seeing their name on British racecourses.”

Andreas Meinrad, CEO of BetVictor, commented on joining the ABP scheme

“We are proud to announce that we are an Authorised Betting Partner of British horseracing. BetVictor has a rich heritage in the sport, and we want to play our part in ensuring the long term growth, sustainability and success of British horseracing.

“We feel we would be doing our customers a disservice by not getting behind this initiative and believe it will resonate with customers of other companies who choose not to sign up.
