SG Gaming appoints Phil Horne as new CEO

Scientific Games Corporation has confirmed the promotion of Phil Horne as CEO of subsidiary SG Gaming.

Horne who currently serves as SG Gaming Group Managing Director will take over the leadership of the multi-content gambling technology provider when current Chairman Steve Frater retires on 31 March.

Horne has served as SG Gaming MD since March 2013 prior to joining the Scientific Games division, Horne served as Gaming Director for UK operator Gala Coral.

On taking over the leadership of Steve Frater as CEO SG Gaming, Horne commented

“It has been a privilege working with Steve. He is truly an industry innovator and will be greatly missed at SG Gaming,” Horne said of the outgoing executive chairman. “We thank him for his leadership, vision and his hard work to drive the business to where it is today.

“I am very proud to now be leading SG Gaming through to the next phase of growth and ensuring our customers continue to benefit from one of the industry’s leading gaming solutions package,”

Steve Frater approved of the promotion of Horne as CEO “I am confident that SG Gaming will continue to go from strength to strength under Phil Horne’s  leadership.”
