Rank Group Plc governance has announced that Non-Executive Director Tim Scoble is to step down from its board.
Scoble leaves the gambling operator following five years’ board service. Scoble was charged with leading and advising Rank Group’s governance remuneration committee.
The operator informed that Scoble had decided to step down from its board as outside commitments had grown substantially. Scoble concluded to the Rank board that he could no longer fufil the full responsibilities of being a Non-Executive Director for the group.
Rank Group chairman Ian Burke thanked Scoble’s contribution to the operator over the past five years
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tim for his hard work on our board and committees over the past five and a half years. Tim’s commitment, expertise and guidance have been invaluable to Rank and the board is extremely sorry to see him go.” Burke stated
Rank Group Governance informed the media that it had begun its search for Scoble’s replacement
