Regulus strengthens consultancy with appointment of Jay & Scott

Gambling strategic consultancy Regulus Partners has announced that it has strengthened its advisory team by appointing industry executives Patrick Jay and William Scott. The appointments will bolster Regulus industry specific capabilities which include corporate development, supply side strategy and due diligence.

Patrick Jay was most recently Head of Trading at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, managing operations in Hong Kong, Beijing and Taiwan. Prior to this, he was Sports and Football Director at Ladbrokes. Patrick began his career as Trading Desk Manager at IG Index. Jay has in depth of knowledge of sportsbook, trading and betting operations on a global scale, including the vast and rapidly growing Asian markets.

William Scott spent eighteen years at GTECH, most recently as Commercial Director of their remote arm, G2, responsible for revenue from both WLA and commercial customers.

As GTECH’s Corporate Development Director, he was heavily involved in the acquisitions which created GTECH’s remote presence. William is also a Chartered Accountant and prior to his time at GTECH he was Finance Director of Coffee Republic PLC.
