Lawrence Ho Yau Lung’s  gambling investment firm Summit Ascent Holdings, has confirmed that its Russian casino complex has entered the final stage of construction, as the firm targets its opening on 28 August.

The complex was due to open in April of this year, however Summit Ascent managment had pushed back the date due to encountering unexpected challenges.

Summit Ascent alerted the media that its Russian casino complex would undertake a final government licensed inspection which could take six to eight weeks to complete following the casino’s construction

The casino resort which is being built in the Primorye Entertainment Zone (Vladivostok – East Russia) will service 119 rooms alongside a luxury casino suite and gaming floor.

The investment firm further announced that the casino had filed all key management positions in advance of its opening. The investment firm has hired Craig Ballantyne to oversee the property’s daily operations as Chief Operating Officer.

In preparation for its opening, the casino complex has trained up some 700 new staff members in the region, as it expects to be fully ramped up by its opening weeks. The number of staff should increase to +1000 when the complex is at full capacity

The Primorye casino complex is within a three hour flight radius China’s north eastern provinces of Jilin, Heilongjiang and Liaoning.
