Catena Media Plc has announced the promotion of Michael Gerrow to Group CFO of the Nasdaq Stockholm-listed igaming media publisher.
The current VP of Corporate Finance, Gerrow will assume the role of Group CFO on April 15, succeeding Erik Edeen, who has served as interim CFO since February 2023 following the departure of Peter Messner. Erik Edeen will continue to support the company in a strategic advisory role.
The board of Catena Media backs Gerrow’s appointment, as the executive has led the financial planning and strategic investment of the media publisher’s North American unit since joining the company in 2020.
The appointment of Gerrow sees Catena Media complete its leadership transition, as the publisher is set to be led by the new CEO Manu Stan from 1 July onwards.
Stan, who joins Catena Media from Kindred Group Plc, alongside Gerrow, will take charge of executing Catena’s new growth strategy for its dedicated North American affiliate network, including LegalSportsReport.com, TheLines.com, Lineups.com, GamingToday.com, PlayNY.com, and NYSportsDay.com.
Catena Media Interim CEO Pierre Cadena commented, “We are delighted to see Michael step into the role of Group CFO. His extensive experience and deep understanding of our financial operations make him exceptionally well-suited to lead our financial operations going forward.
Michael’s transition to this role will provide strategic continuity in our executive management team, supporting Catena Media as we continue on the next phase of our journey.”
