Sky Vegas reviews creative advertising account

Sky Vegas has placed its multi-million-pound creative advertising account under strategic review

The flagship online casino brand of Sky Betting & Gaming (Sky Bet) has issued a call for advertising agencies to pitch for the creative development of its UK marketing campaigns.

The London-based agency Who Wot Why has managed the Sky Vegas creative account since 2020.

While managing the Sky Vegas account, Who Wot Why developed UK advertising campaigns including Play. It’s why we’re here (2024), Big Entertainment in Small Moments, and The Winning Machine.

Sky Bet has appointed advertising consultancy Ingenuity+ to oversee the agency pitch and tender process.

The Sky Vegas creative account was last reviewed in 2019, following Flutter Entertainment’s acquisition of The Stars Group Inc.

Sky Vegas continues to retain EssenceMediacom for its media planning and buying. EssenceMediacom, a WPP agency, has handled media for key campaigns, including Play. It’s why we’re here, launched in January 2024.

Jo Thornton, Marketing Director at Sky Betting and Gaming, confirmed developments to SBC: “Having recently relocated our gaming business to our new Gaming Hub in Gibraltar, we are currently in the process of selecting a new strategic agency partner to support our brand and creative leadership ambitions for Sky Gaming.

The process is being supported by the fantastic team at Ingenuity+ as we near the conclusion of our pitch process. We have been incredibly impressed by the stellar talent and passion we’ve encountered along the way and look forward to rolling up our sleeves with a fresh brand and creative partner in 2025 and beyond.”
