EveryMatrix has named Marc Burroughes as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of its Casino division, driven by CasinoEngine.
Burroughes has held senior roles at IGT, Light & Wonder and OpenBet and has spent almost two decades in the iGaming industry. He will now report to casino business unit CEO Stian Enger.
Ebbe Groes, Group CEO and Co-Founder, EveryMatrix, commented: “Marc has a strong track record working in senior positions for some of the industry’s major providers and delivering premium casino solutions for tier-1 brands.”
This commercial experience extends to setting strategies and managing customers and integrating content from top game studios, platforms and aggregation solutions.
“As we continue to grow at pace, and as our casino business unit goes from strength-to-strength, we’re looking to accelerate this even further in the months and years ahead under Marc’s commercial leadership,” Groes added.
As COO of EveryMatrix’s casino division, Burroughes will oversee a segment which generated €2.8bn in Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) for customers last year, and processed over 73 billion game rounds.
Defining the commercial strategy
Burroughes’s new CCO role will centre around delivering the forthcoming EngageSuite ecosystem to existing and new clients.
He will also take on several other responsibilities such as working closely with the SlotMatrix and EveryMatrix Games teams to help customers move to a full platform solution, amongst other tasks.
“When the opportunity came to join EveryMatrix on their journey to rapid growth there was only one answer I could give,” Burroughes said on his appointment.
“The group’s casino division is among the best I’ve seen in my 17 years in the industry and it still has room to significantly grow. I want to maximise all the opportunities we’ve identified and I’m confident we can achieve some big targets.”
Earlier this year, EveryMatrix Group Head of Communications James Bennett detailed to SBC News some of the company’s goals for 2025.
He explained that the firm aims to “retain and always grow our customers as much as possible which, in turn, ensures we continue to grow and push forward as a business”.
Delivering the firm’s technologies, including its casino solutions, to partners across the betting, gaming and lotteries sectors, is critical to achieving this objective, he told SBC News.
