The Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG) has expanded its sponsorship with sportsbook operator Meridianbet, which will now become the official sponsor of Montenegrin football.
The sponsorship agreement was signed by Dejan Savićević, President of the FSCG and former European footballer, and Jovana Klisić, Executive Director of Meridianbet Montenegro.
The partnership is set to last until the end of 2024 and is an extension of a previous collaboration that began when Meridianbet started sponsoring the First Montenegrin Football League.
The dealmakers expressed optimism for the extended collaboration and its potential benefits to Montenegrin football.
FSCG President Savićević stated:”We are immensely honoured to have the support of Meridianbet, a company with regional and international credibility. We are glad that Meridianbet recognized the mutual benefits of this partnership, which we look forward to taking to even greater heights.”
Meridianbet will be present at all official competitions, including domestic leagues and national teams, and will assist in developing infrastructure, sports facilities, and youth programs.
Jovana Klisić highlighted the partnership’s joint ambitions, saying: “As a company recognized as a leader in sports betting and gaming throughout Southeast Europe, this sponsorship will massively improve the quality of Montenegrin football as well as our reputation for being the region’s top sports sponsor.”
Both parties anticipate that this partnership will lead to shared success, the increased popularity of football in Montenegro, and the achievement of common goals during the ongoing EURO 2024 qualifying campaign.
