bet365 extends GiG marketing compliance partnership

Gaming Innovation Group’s (GiG) partnership with bet365 has been renewed for an undisclosed period of time, centred around delivery of the GiG Comply tool.

An automated affiliate marketing compliance solution, GiG Comply will be used by bet365 to scan web pages for content such as links, igaming ‘code red words’ and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

GiG Media’s end goal for GiG Comply is to ensure compliance across various regulatory regimes, with Stoke-based bet365 active across numerous markets globally,

Jonas Warrer, Chief Marketing Officer at GiG Media, said: “Extending our partnership with bet365, one of the leading names in the industry, is a worthwhile indication of the confidence it provides our partners in the affiliate market and the strength of the team we have in GiG Media.”

The product works to achieve this multi-sector compliance objective by analysing snapshots from affiliates campaigns and showing promotional content to operators.

London-based GiG also aims to achieve flexibility, allowing operators to set up their own criteria and checklist parameters that can be tailored to meet market-specific compliance requirements.

A bet365 spokesperson said: “We look forward to continuing our partnership with GiG Comply. Their automated compliance solution is a valuable tool in helping to maintain a compliant affiliate program globally.”

bet365 is a long-running client of GiG’s GiG Media igaming affiliate business, with the international duo having last renewed the partnership in 2021.

The renewal comes off the back of a range of agreements secured by GiG, including a deal with News Corp – owner of The Sun and talkSPORT media business and talkSPORT Bet bookmaker brand – and the acquisition of the AskGamblers site from Catena Media.
