DACH bookmaker Interwetten has been named as the main sponsor and naming rights partner of the Greek Super League as part of a three-year agreement.
The partnership, which will run until the end of the 2022/23 season, will see the league rebranded to become the ‘Super League Interwetten’, with the betting company due to be integrated into the official league logo.
Interwetten Speaker of the Board Dominik Beier said: “Greece is and remains a very important market for us. Therefore, we want to continue to invest in sports here and expand our position.
“The naming right of the Greek Super League is the most valuable sports partnership that exists in Greece. It is our aim to offer our customers the best product on the market.”
In addition, Interwetten’s logo will also be displayed on the match ball as well as the league’s official mobile app and across all video wall advertising in all Greek Super League stadiums.
Last month, Interwetten extended its sponsorship agreement with German Bundesliga clubs TSG Hoffenheim and Vfl Wolfsburg, with the partnerships due to last until June 2023.
As part of the extension, Interwetten continues to support the TSG Hoffenheim in its marketing and advertising strategy, as well as including two large static TV advertising presences, a mini banner and LED advertising.
Interwetten’s branding being shown across advertising boards for domestic television broadcasts in the form of the LED PowerPack boards, Cam Carpets next to the goals and various logo placements on press walls and digital branding as agreed in its partnership with Vfl Wolfsburg.
