It has been a busy close season for German football, with a trio of Bundesliga clubs all securing fresh sponsorships, or renewals, with a number of online sports betting and gaming firms.
VfB Stuttgart is one such example having agreed a deal with sports betting providers Betano, who become a premier partner of the club, in a deal which will run until 2021.
Announcing the deal George Daskalakis, Founder and Managing Director of Betano, stated: “We are delighted about the introduction of Betano onto the German market, which will be characterised by our cooperation with VfB Stuttgart.
“In VfB, we have found a great, tradition-steeped German football club as a strong partner – and also one whose very positive reputation extends well beyond the borders of Germany.
“Our partnership embodies the dynamics with which both parties operate and plays a part in our mutual goal of providing a unique experience for the fans both on, as well as away from, the pitch.”
Hertha Berlin is the next German side featured, with a two-year renewal with Lotto Berlin agreed, which will provide the state lottery with stadium advertising campaigns, digital campaigns and joint fan-engagement activations.
This deal follows an agreement with Yabo Sports, which sees the firm become the official and exclusive betting partner of the club in Asia, for the upcoming season.
Sunny Xu, Chief Executive Officer at Yabo Sports says: “Yabo Sports is proud to become Hertha BSC’s exclusive betting partner in Asia, with the aim to enhance brand value and regional influence together with the club. We appreciate Lagardère Sports’ facilitation and professionalism in bringing Yabo Sports and Hertha BSC together.
“Looking ahead, we will devote ourselves to provide users with more quality sports games in the region, as well as more exciting Hertha BSC content in partnership with the club.”
Finally is a renewal for Eintracht Frankfurt, which sees Lotto Hessen, who has been working with the club since the 2013/14 season, secure its premier partnership for a further three years.
