Gala Interactive, the interactive division of gambling operator Gala Group and operator of igaming brands – Galabingo, Coral.co.uk, Eurobet and Galacasino, has announced the soft launch of Gala.se, the operator’s first foray into the Scandinavian igaming market.

Gala.se will initially target Swedish casino and slots players, with the launch of its new brand. The brand will be operated from the company’s Gibraltar head office and Gala interactive has announced that it has catered Swedish casino players with fully translated online inventory and native customer services.

The operator sees potential strong growth in Sweden, with the market regulators eyeing 2017 as the implementation year for regulation of the country’s igaming market. Gala interactive have chosen to supply Gala.se with igaming software provisions and player management systems provided by Playtech Technology.

A mobile gaming platform will also be available to Swedish based customers. It is thought that Gala.se will initially look to grow its Swedish casino customer base, it is also thought that once the brand is established in Sweden, it will look to acquire customers in the lucrative Norwegian and Finnish igaming markets.

Gala Interactive Managing Director  Per Widerstrom commented on  the launch of the new brand:  “Gala.se will bring something new and exciting to the Swedish gaming market and we have big plans for the brand for when it hard launches.”
