Argentinian iGaming tech supplier ONDISS has rolled out FIRST’s sportsbook platform to local operator City Center Online.
This marks FIRST’s official entry into the regulated market of Argentina, facilitated by ONDISS and supplemented by City Center Online’s online casino platform.
Tom Light, Founder and CEO of FIRST, commented: “ONDISS and City Center Online wanted technology built for real market conditions, not a feed dressed up as a sportsbook.
“That’s what FIRST delivers. Speed, control and the product depth players in Argentina expect.”
The activation comes shortly after provincial regulatory body Santa Fe Lottery launched a licensed online sports betting market, with City Center Online becoming one of the first .bet.ar operators to be granted official regulated status compliant with all responsible gambling standards.
Facundo Giorgi, Chief Executive Officer of ONDISS, added: “At Ondiss, we are committed to bringing our operators the best technology solutions from around the world. The integration of FIRST into our platform reflects that commitment and expands the opportunities available to our customers.
“FIRST’s decision to begin its expansion into Argentina alongside Ondiss reinforces our position as a strategic partner for international suppliers looking to grow in Latin America’s regulated gaming markets. We are excited about the value this partnership will bring to our operators.”
All parties involved are positioned to gain significant market share in one of Latin America’s fastest growing licensed gambling jurisdictions.
Market analysis data from Blask show Argentina’s estimated Competitive Earning Baseline (CEB) at $1.74bn (£1.3bn), with 180 brands currently active there.
Focusing on its wider Latin American presence, FIRST has also expanded significantly ahead of the World Cup through its most recent deal with ADI Predictstreet, which became FIFA’s first official prediction markets partner after being licensed in Gibraltar earlier this year.
