Leading industry media organisation SBC Media’s latest online conference, SBC Digital – Middle East & Africa will play host to a strong cast of experts to discuss key themes and conversation topics in the African and burgeoning Middle Eastern igaming industries.
Kicking off on Wednesday, May 28 with the African portion of the event, the headline topics include a discussion on a cohesive regulatory framework in light of rising internet speeds and affordability of smartphones, future-proofing your brand and winning player loyalty, balancing frictionless transactions with regulatory compliance, the growth of casino, and the current landscape in South Africa.
On Thursday, May 29, the Middle East takes centre stage, with the hot topics being the future of crypto in the region, whether the popularity of sports could lead to a push for a regulated betting market, and the casino industry in the UAE with the Wynn casino project.
SBC News Editor Ted Orme-Claye hosts a discussion entitled ‘Regulate to Elevate: Securing Africa’s Gaming Market for Long-Term Success’ where he’ll be joined by Marcus Hanna of BetToMax, Krassi Ivanova, 10bet’s Head of Fraud, and Abena Osafo-Mensah of the Gaming Commission of Ghana to discuss reformation of responsible gaming measures and futureproofing regulation for the growth of the industry across the continent.
Elsewhere, SBC Media’s Marketing Manager Scott Fulton moderates a fascinating discussion on branding, overcoming barriers to entry and localisation, in a panel aimed at both existing players and new entrants to markets. He’ll be joined by Moshe Adir, Co-Founder of Vegas Kings, Ernest Ghartey of Ghana’s Pridebet, and the vastly experienced Oyindamola Michaels, Country Manager for Livescore in Nigeria.
Lois Bright, Founder of Women in Gaming, Africa, is in charge of a hugely important discussion on the always-fascinating South African market.
