Interregional Sports Group (ISG), the lead sponsorship agency for Formula 1 racing, has confirmed that 188BET has secured a five-season agreement to become the ‘Official Sponsor’ of F1 Asia events.
The partnership sees the 188BET brand secure exclusive coverage across the Asian broadcast market during the F1 season, which in 2020 will featurie motorsport’s first Hanoi Vietnam Grand Prix on 5 April 2020.
Further coverage will see 188BET promoted across high-definition virtual trackside advertising monitors that will be activated with F1 expanded digital and social media platforms.
Becoming F1 Asia’s official sponsor, 188BET secures ownership of the F1 Play predictor app for the Asian sports betting market and will receive official F1 betting data supplied by Sportradar.
2019 saw 188BET increase its profile within developing Asian and South American markets, as the online bookmaker departed the UK online betting scene, citing a ‘commercial decision operating in a very competitive marketplace’.
