Nasdaq-listed Scientific Games Corporation (SGC) has announced that it will move to expand its Stockholm Technology Development Center servicing its enlarged SG Digital division.

SG Digital’s Stockholm offices were developed to create a centralised technology hub focusing on platform development, technical operations and digital innovation.

Updating the market, SGC governance has confirmed that it will seek to add a further 50 tech-based employees to its Stockholm headcount.

Leading the recruitment drive, Doreena Ross Chief Human Resources Officer for SG Digital, said:

“Stockholm is a perfect addition to our expanded presence: it has a wealth of technology talent, massive growth opportunity, and a great community on which we can build a strong team. We expect an increased presence in many other global locations as we drive our products to lead the industry.”

Among the roles available will be Senior C++ Platform Developer, Quality Assurance Engineer and DevOps and TechOps Engineer. Chris Armes, Chief Technology Officer of  SG Digital backed the division’s Stockholm expansion:

“Our expanded presence in Stockholm will go a long way in supporting our growth initiatives in Europe. We have tremendous growth opportunity across our organization and this new centre will fuel our success in the European market. Now is the perfect time to join the gaming and sports industry; space is set for continued success and we look forward to years of strong performance from our teams there.”
