Ahead of the start of a new Premier League season, Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) is bolstering its fantasy sports provisions by partnering with mobile games developer Dribble. The partnership will see Dribble DFS games promoted under the Sky Bet brand.

The partnership will see SB&G integrate Dribble’s unique DFS games portfolio which focuses on introducing casual sports fans to DFS games/contests.

Sky Bet will bolster its real-money fantasy sports content adding Dribble’s games inventory, which include; ‘1v1 Drafts or Dream Team contests against a small pool of opponents. Users build a 5-aside team from any Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, MLS or international games without a budget. On top of the Draft & Dream Team games, Dribble offers cash prizes for the top five players on the leaderboard each month, adding extra competition for the best players.’

At present, Dribble games are currently available on iOS and will be available on Android and the web soon.

Nicholas Wright, CEO of Dribble, backed the partnership: “Imagine it’s Monday Night Football & you’re sat at home with a pizza on the way. You open Dribble on your phone and spend a couple minutes drafting a team against another punter. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat when the game is on and the scores are updating live on your phone.”

“Having a household betting name like Sky Bet behind us shows that a game where fantasy players are actually rewarded for playing is the way forward,” continues Nicholas. “This is a big win for daily fantasy in the UK & we’re excited to work with such a forward-thinking brand that challenges the betting space” he finishes.

Ted Moss, Managing Director – Sky Bet, of Sky Betting & Gaming, commented on Dribble Games: “We’ve been watching the Daily Fantasy market flourish in the US, this will be our way of understanding how big this type of product could be on our shores. Dribble’s product has certainly impressed and we are hopeful of a fruitful partnership”

Joe Mirtaheri, Head of Sky Games, of Sky Betting & Gaming, said: “Dribble’s fresh and disruptive approach to Fantasy Football has really impressed both early users and internal staff. I’m extremely excited to see how our partnership grows as we further understand the UK and international market and create amazing experiences for users. This will complement the current Sky Games offering of: Soccer Saturday Super 6, Sky Sports Fantasy Football, Sky Sports Fantasy Six a Side and Sporting Life Pick 7.
