World Poker Tour (WPT) has partnered with a new licensee to publicly launch a new global online poker platform, WPTGlobal™, alongside Wingsuit at ICE Totally Game 2022, in London (England).
After almost three long years without the annual ICE Totally Gaming London conference, in combination with the sister show, London Affiliate Conference, finally – the show must go on.
Running from April 12th – 14th at Excel London, thousands of igaming professionals are making their way to the Big Smoke to indulge in quality networking, new business and one of the industry’s best branding opportunities.
World-renowned poker brand, World Poker Tour, recently licensed its brand to a new online real money gaming platform, WPTGlobal, an emerging tech and gambling company based in Europe.
This collaboration will bring the famous WPT brand to online players around the world, serving a premium online poker and gaming experience. The new WPTGlobal app will host real-money cash games and tournaments at a wide range of buy-in levels on a platform custom-built for fairness and security.
Initially, at launch, WPTGlobal will welcome players from Brazil, LatAm (Mexico excluded), and Canada (Ontario excluded), among other select territories.
Whilst there is plenty in the pipeline for WPTGlobal, even pre-launch, it is notable to mention their recent partnership with GAMAVRS, to launch the first official NFT poker club – the Poker Heroes. This exclusive club comes with a plethora of VIP player advantages.
The Poker Heroes Club enables players to use the NFT avatars in poker games directly within the WPTGlobal platform.
As part of WPT and WPTGlobal’s licensing arrangement, celebrity WPT ambassadors (such as global DJ, Steve Aoki) will have their own Poker Hero avatars, meaning players can participate in poker games virtually; this very well could be the start of a very interesting metaverse trend.
Last, but certainly not least – WPTGlobal will partner with Wingsuit during ICE to offer patrons an epic VR experience. Titled the WPTGlobal Wingsuit VR Challenge Championship, one lucky winner from the ICE attendees will take possession of an exclusive Poker Heroes NFT, integrated directly into the WPTGlobal online platform.
