Vamos! Snaitech makes ‘first international play’ in Spain

Italian gambling operator Snaitech SPA has confirmed that it will enter the Spanish betting market, having been granted a B2B supplier licence by Spain’s Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ).  

The Italian technology group, which was acquired by FTSE-listed Playtech Plc for €840 million (deal completed June 2018), will undertake its ‘first international steps’.

Updating the market, Snaitech governance has revealed that it will enter Spain through a strategic-partnership with Spanish operator Apuestas de Espana, launching new property ‘Apuestas SNAI’.

In its update, Snaitech governance details that it will seek to launch its Betsmart solution, aiming to revamp Spanish retail betting with best-in-class provisions for market trading, customer rewards, in-play pricing, data gathering and payment solutions.

The Italian firm, details that it expects to have a Spanish retail presence by the end of Summer 2018.

‘International expansion is the next challenge for our company’ declares Snaitech Group CEO Fabio Schiavolin.

“In 2018, the Snaitech universe has evolved beyond Italy, and we are opening our horizons starting with Iberia. The partnership with Apuestas de Espana, marks our first international steps.”

“Following July, we want to spread more and more our experience on the gaming sector in the Spanish market with the expansion in different Communities”.
